I am with Rikkitic on this I would tell PB Tech to go fish and I would go elsewhere. I even find their customer facing staff to be terrible with no idea of customer service, I swear a smile must cost extra there. I use them as a last resort. My online buying is done at Ascent and I never had to jump through hoops and get a reference from the ten disciples in order to give the money.

I feel this very strongly and I am amazed to learn it seems to have become standard practice in many places. This is the first time I have banged into it. I am elderly and it makes me think of tropes about old people being out of touch with changes in society and the way things are done. Maybe I am out of touch but if this kind of thing is the new normal, people are putting up with an awful lot of crap they shouldn't have to.
I am in fact looking at Mighty Ape as an alternative, but something went wrong (naturally) with their purchase page and I keep getting looped back. I have sent an email about it.
I feel like I have said my piece and this will probably be my last post on the subject. Anything more is just ranting. Thank you all for listening.
